Bishop Jonathan, the Bishop of Huddersfield, spent time in our parish on Sunday 25th November, and he led the worship at our 11am service. A larger-than-usual congregation met the Bishop, and heard what he had to say.
The choir presented its annual carol service on 17th December. In addition to seven congregational carols and nine readings, the choir sang nine pieces, including the world premiere of James Morgan’s “Wings of Angels”. Following an earlier series of Be Still sessions, there will be a further series in the post-Easter period. Revd. Evelyne Barrow will lead these short sessions on the second Wednesday evening of the month, where you are invited to join in a time of quiet reflection, prayer, music and stillness.
