Bishop Jonathan, the Bishop of Huddersfield, spent time in our parish on Sunday 25th November, and he led the worship at our 11am service. A larger-than-usual congregation met the Bishop, and heard what he had to say.

Following an earlier series of Be Still sessions, there will be a further series in the post-Easter period. Revd. Evelyne Barrow will lead these short sessions on the second Wednesday evening of the month, where you are invited to join in a time of quiet reflection, prayer, music and stillness.

music @ Christ Church’s first concert of 2016 was a matinee presentation of Viennese music. Band members dressed appropriately for a Viennese concert, and this helped to set the atmosphere. The concert was well-supported; the galleries had to be opened as the downstairs seats filled. A most enjoyable concert.
